How much does a website cost for a company in 2026? Real ranges and costs

If you're typing into Google a question about the cost of a website for a company, you probably don't want "just any website", but a tool that should look professional, support sales and not fall apart after a few months. The problem is that under one phrase there are projects of completely different scale. Therefore, instead of one amount, it is worth understanding what the budget really consists of and where companies most often overpay or - conversely - buy seemingly cheaply and then pay extra for corrections, maintenance and SEO.

What really determines the price of a company website

Scope is the first and strongest cost driver. The more types of subpages, sections, language versions, forms, downloadable materials, case studies or blog, the more design and implementation work.

ℹ️Google about page structure

A reasonable valuation should not only include "a nice view". Already at the construction stage, it is worth taking care of information architecture, URL discoverability, descriptive titles and basic search engine preparation - Google recommends this directly in its documentation for webmasters.

Quality and level of individualization is the second element. A website from a ready-made template, with minor changes and without its own UX layer, costs less than a project created for the brand, offer and conversion path. This is why in some price lists a company website starts at around PLN 2,500-3,000, while in others real sales implementations go noticeably higher.

Technology and maintenance model is the third element. WordPress offers great flexibility, but requires hosting, updates and technical support. SaaS platforms simplify some of the maintenance, but they come with subscription and plan limitations. In practice, it's not worth asking just about the startup cost - the total cost of ownership extends over years.

Availability and compliance with good practices is the fourth element. WCAG describes how to create websites that are accessible to people with different needs - and the more consciously you implement accessibility from the beginning, the fewer costly reworks will be made at the end of the project.

Real price ranges - how to read them sensibly

Based on current public Polish materials, the following indicative ranges can be adopted:

Project typeIndicative range
Very simple business cardapprox. PLN 800–2,500
Company websiteapprox. PLN 2,500–8,000
Website with an extensive blogok. PLN 5,000–12,000
Large portal or content serviceapprox. PLN 15,000–80,000

Public sources describe a traditional agency start-up as an expense of at least PLN 2,500, and the TCO of company websites over a three-year horizon is significantly higher than the implementation cost itself.

💡SolidBee Indicative - Not Market Average

For a small service company that needs a website with 6-10 subpages, its own design, CTA, a basic blog and technical SEO preparation - A reasonable starting budget will more often be closer to the middle than to the lower end of public price lists. The more a website is intended to be a sales tool, the logic of "the cheapest website on the Internet" becomes less useful.

Which very often does not fit into the price of one page

Companies regularly overlook the costs of content, photos, copywriting, conversion funnel design, migration of old content, redirections, analytics setup, maintenance and further development. If the supplier only rates the visual layer, you will later have to pay extra for optimization. Additionally, there is update care, backups and response to security incidents.

⚠️Mit meta keywords - beware of fake SEO

Google explicitly states that the keywords meta tag has no impact on indexing or ranking. If someone sells "additional SEO" in a quote consisting only of entering meta keywords - you are not buying a value, only a historical myth. This is an apparent optimization that brings nothing.

Freelancer, agency or subscription solution

Public sources show a simple pattern - each model has its place and its limitations:

Model✓ Advantage✗ Limitation
FreelancerLower startup cost, flexibility of deadlinesDependence on one person, no team
Small agencyDesigner + developer + SEO in one placeHigher cost, longer decision time
Subscription / SaaSLow entry barrier, simple maintenanceRestrictions on development, migration and features

Therefore, the question is not only "how much does it cost", but also: what will happen to this website in one, two and three years.

How not to overpay and buy too cheap

The best filter is a brief. If you know what goals the website is supposed to achieve, what content must be on it, where the traffic will come from and who will develop it later - you will be able to distinguish a reasonable quote from offers that only look good at the beginning.

In practice, the cheapest website is expensive when, after half a year, you need to rewrite the content, rebuild the menu, improve the mobile version, add SEO, rewrite forms and solve performance problems. The budget must be considered in the category: implementation cost + maintenance cost + development cost = TCO.

Checklist - before ordering a website

  1. Prepare a short brief with your business goal, target group and list of mandatory sections.
  2. Write down whether you need a blog, language versions, CMS, CRM integration, downloadable materials and forms.
  3. Ask what is included in the price and what is separately: content, SEO, analytics, hosting, maintenance, patches, migration, redirects.
  4. Request who will own the domain, hosting, code and administrative accounts.
  5. Determine who is responsible for updates, backups and development after launch.
  6. Don't compare quotes solely by the number of subpages. Also compare the scope of responsibility and the quality of the process.

Examples of ranges and approximate ranges

Local service company - home page, offer, about us, projects, blog, contact, form. The budget is closer to the "company website" class, not the "business card" class. Public sources usually show around several thousand zlotys, depending on the quality and contractor.

B2B company with content marketing - extensive offer, case studies, blog, lead magnet, campaign landings, CRM, analytics. The budget is higher than a typical company website, because the role of content and information architecture is increasing. Public sources indicate ranges for extended services.

Frequently asked questions

How much does a simple company website cost?

The simplest public price lists from 2026 usually range from approximately PLN 800 to PLN 2,500 for very simple projects. However, do not be confused this with a well-prepared sales website for the company.

How much does a good company website to generate leads cost?

Public sources usually show several thousand zlotys as a real entry point, and more extensive implementations with a blog, SEO, content and integrations grow significantly higher. The final price depends on the scope, quality and cooperation model.

Is hosting and maintenance included in the price of the website?

It depends on the offer. In some models they are available separately, in others they are included in the subscription or care package. Always ask before signing the contract.

Is it possible to make it cheaper and expand the website later?

Yes, but only if you choose a sensible architecture, CMS and development model from the beginning. Too cheap an implementation often results in a costly one redesign after a few months.
